Microsoft and TARGIT have prolonged an OEM-agreement, which means that TARGITs Business Intelligence-tools, also in the future, can be delivered as an integrated part of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Hjørring, November 24, 2006 – TARGIT has just resigned a strategically important agreement with Microsoft. In all simplicity, the agreement is that TARGIT will continue to develop the business intelligence-tool, which is delivered as an integrated part of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the former Navision. Next year, Microsoft is launching Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0, and also in the new edition, customers can make a mark at Microsoft Business Analytics, which is a basic version of TARGIT’s main product, TARGIT BI Suite.
Business intelligence has become a popular tool for the ERP-suppliers, when management at a client’s organization needs to see how all the data in the ERP-solution can be converted into business-critical knowledge. Therefore, business intelligence is increasingly incorporated as a permanent part of an ERP-solution, and in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, it is the TARGIT-technology that continuously can be bought through Microsoft’s reseller channel.
Already, TARGIT is one of the large suppliers of business intelligence for Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly known as Axapta), and with the new agreement for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, TARGIT can further extend its position in the market.
