TARGIT wins home

 To comply with the rapidly increasing demand for quick and precise management information the real estate chain, home, has chosen TARGIT BI Suite on the group level. From now on, TARGIT’s business intelligence solution will make it easier for management to maintain overview of more than every fourth real estate sale in Denmark. TARGIT BI Suite won the order in competition with two American Business Intelligence solutions.

Hjørring, June 30, 2006 – The chain of real estate agencies, home, that arranges every fourth real estate sale in Denmark, has chosen TARGIT BI Suite as their new business intelligence solution. To begin with, TARGIT BI Suite is used by home headquarters, franchise takers, and sales managers all over the country.

Every day home registers a wealth of information about properties that are put up for sale through the chain agencies. Among other things, the real estate brokers register information about the number of house showings, marketing contributions, the duration from offer to sale, buyer- and seller profiles, as well as a wide variety of data concerning prices and geography. This information is daily transferred from a variety of sub systems to a centralized portal. Previously, it required special requests from the server to withdraw information from the system, which was time consuming, and the information was only withdrawn when absolutely necessary. An increasing demand for constantly updated, easily available and flexible management information from the registered data therefore made management evaluate the market for business intelligence solutions.

In the search for Business Intelligence, home was assisted by the independent consultancy house Platon. Among other things, Platon short-listed three possible business intelligence technologies; TARGIT BI Suite and two American technologies. After a thorough analysis, TARGIT BI received high marks, and seeing as the technology is Danish and tightly connected to Microsoft, the decision had almost been made in advance.

”Through the use of a business intelligence solution, we want to become as good as possible at evaluating the development in the real estate market, which we’ll do by analyzing the many data that we are registering every day. To begin with, TARGIT BI Suite is only analyzing the raw figures in the data, but later on, management in home also wishes to incorporate several “soft” key performance indicators regarding the employees such as e.g. educational goals and personal performance. Customer satisfaction is already analyzed in the BI solution.
