TARGIT strengthens position in the US

TARGIT is heading towards 3,000 customers and 200,000 users worldwide, and especially in the US the company experiences the largest growth at a sole market outside of Denmark. The American customers are particularly thrilled about the user-friendliness of TARGIT BI Suite, and to accommodate the increased demand, TARGIT now opens yet another office in the US - this time in Denver - ensuring the company a far stronger position in the central and western part of the US.

Copenhagen, September 17th, 2008 - TARGIT, Denmark’s largest developer of business intelligence, now sets in additional resources to carry out the company’s growth strategy at the American market. Therefore, the twelve employees at the existing office in Tampa, Florida will be greeting new colleagues when TARGIT opens an office in the heart of Colorado’s technology center in Denver.

Every single month for the past three years, TARGIT has set the turnover record in comparison to the same month the year before, and outside the Danish domestic market especially the US market has a great demand for TARGIT BI Suite, the company’s main product, developed in Denmark. As in Denmark, the twelve TARGIT employees in Tampa have a close cooperation with Microsoft which is still a considerable incentive for the expansion at the American market. In this way, TARGIT grew by 63 per cent in 2007 in comparison to the year before; a development that has created the need for yet another American office.

Rusty Gerhart, who, having been a part of TARGIT US Inc. since 2006, already has a thorough knowledge of TARGIT’s business in America is appointed Regional Manager for the Denver office. His colleague, Aarron Solan, who starts up as Partner Account Manager, has previously worked for Intellisource and Sun Microsystems.

At the same time, we will continue the growth at our Tampa office, and we expect a considerable growth in both turnover and income for the next accounting period”, says Flemming Madsen, TARGIT’s Senior VP of Sales.
