 The Business Philosophy behind TARGIT Business Intelligence Suite

TARGIT software is built around a holistic philosophy that we refer to as CALM: Computer Aided Leadership & Management. The idea is that a business process for any person in an organization is a cycle of Observation, Orientation, Decision and Action.

Through observation and orientation employees obtain an overview of the current situation and retrieve critical insights needed to make decisions for the future. Decisions are finally implemented in the action phase. This process is continuously repeated in all areas of the business – by all decision makers - throughout the lifetime of the business.

If we map this philosophy to existing software, we find that:

• The Orientation phase is undertaken by analytical applications
• The Decision phase is a summary of both analysis and reporting
• The Action phase is undertaken by operational applications such as ERP or CRM solutions or by email and other means of communication.

• We provide applications that integrate the Microsoft and TARGIT technologies to key ERP and CRM players.
