TARGIT ANTserver is the heart of any TARGIT solution. The server ensures availability of the company's various data sources in TARGIT BI Suite.
The ANTserver Services the TARGIT Clients
TARGIT ANTserver is available in two different editions:

STANDARD
The TARGIT ANTserver services the TARGIT clients, and the primary task of the ANTserver is to manage the data communication between the data warehouse and the TARGIT clients. This makes TARGIT ANTserver the connective link for all TARGIT users on the system. TARGIT ANTserver works multi-dimensionally, i.e. it services many clients at the same time. TARGIT ANTserver can be connected to a Microsoft cube database.
The ANTserver Manages a Number of Key Elements that are Initiated from TARGIT:

Automated activities, e.g. generation of regular reports and intelligent agents.

Administration of all analyses and reports, ensuring accessibility from any location.

Language configuration - Support for a number of languages, making it easy to exchange information globally across language barriers.

Security is supported either by Standard Security or Microsoft Windows Security (managed via the Enterprise Manager).
ENTERPRISE
The TARGIT ANTserver Enterprise edition is the solution for companies with complex and advanced requirements. TARGIT ANTserver Enterprise makes it possible to pool all existing databases and business areas in the same Business Intelligence solution. This allows all decision makers to act on the basis of the same information – an essential ingredient in the creation of a dynamic and action-oriented organization.
Multi database support: TARGIT ANTserver Enterprise allows an unlimited number of databases to connect to a single ANTserver. This opens the way for data from all of the company’s databases to be analyzed in TARGIT.
Relational support: TARGIT ANTserver Enterprise can connect to relational databases which are managed and modeled in TARGIT’s standard modeling environment.
Support for the cube generators in Oracle 9i Olap and DB2 Cube-views: Data from these cube generators can be integrated with other data sources.
Network Load Balancing: Network Load Balancing makes it possible to use several ANTservers at the same time and ensures optimal hardware utilization across multiple servers.
Query logging: TARGIT ANTserver Enterprise logs and stores each user’s data queries.
CORPORATE COMMUNICATION
As a module for either the Standard or the Enterprise edition of the TARGIT ANTserver, we now offer you Corporate Communication. This module gives the users access to information that helps them make the right decisions – fast, easily and at any time and place.
The Corporate Communication module enables you to share your company’s focus areas – both internally and externally. Show the world your organization’s competencies by presenting your data on video, storyboards or Podcasts – let flat screens dominate the reception, cafeteria or production areas to keep your employees aware of the company’s focus areas.

Slideshows:
The possibility of showing slides containing the latest updated information (analyses, gauges, etc.) on your company flat screens or distributing the slides as videos or Podcasts. Communicate the company’s focus areas to all employees, guests, customers or business partners.
Scheduling:
Analyses, table data and storyboards: Just like a report, analyses, table data or storyboards can be scheduled to be saved or sent out automatically by e-mail at any time you wish. You will never forget to send out important analyses, and every recipient will have the important information at the right time to make the right decisions.
Batch: You can automatically export a report to many different recipients while only giving them access to view the information you allow them to.
Report Collections: Save more reports together as a report collection. The collection includes links to the included reports and not the actual reports themselves, which means that your report collection will always consist of the updated reports.
