TARGIT Portal Development Kit
|
TARGIT Portal Development Kit (PDK) is a tool for publishing graphical objects and analyses from TARGIT Business Intelligence Suite on websites (intranet, extranet or the Internet). Clearly, information has to be accessible if it is to be used to create results, and PDK allows companies and organisations to easily publish graphical objects, analyses and reports on the relevant network or networks. |

Share Dynamic Information
PDK enables sharing of information to users in all geographic locations and provides well-known TARGIT business intelligence functionality as a fully integrated element of any website. The selected analysis is created as a single graphical element, but the information is still dynamic, making it possible to delve deeper into elements of each analysis. If it is a report, it can be opened, worked on, and archived locally.

Choose Your Audience
PDK can disseminate information both to a wide audience, and to a closed circle of users. The built-in security features ensure that users only get access to the intended information. Security is managed either by Windows Security or through standard security settings with a user ID and password for each user. These security settings guarantee that every element published via PDK reaches the right audience.
PDK is Based on TARGIT NET
PDK is technologically based on TARGIT’s web client – NET. The Portal Development Kit uses information from this client to create and distribute dynamic information. Since all this information is processed in the central ANTserver, calculations and analyses can be carried out without significant waiting time from most browsers.
Integration to Microsoft SharePoint
TARGIT Portal Development Kit can be integrated with Microsoft SharePoint Services, which is a Microsoft tool for connecting people, information, processes, and systems both within and beyond the organizational firewall. When integrating PDK to SharePoint you have all the company’s essential information in the same user-interface as you can access TARGIT NET in the SharePoint web application.
