The simple user-interface of TARGIT Power ensures that reports can be easily generated by everybody – specialists as well as beginners. Users will be able to generate, customize and share reports in very few mouse clicks.

With the Meta Morphing tool, “I would like to create a report…”, users are guided through the process of setting up reports with the desired dimensions and criteria. Reports can also be created easily on the basis of existing analyses.

Microsoft Reporting Services has been integrated in TARGIT Power, giving users access to both standard and advanced reporting from TARGIT and Microsoft. Microsoft Reporting Services creates opportunities for even more functionality in the TARGIT environment.

Practical use of Microsoft Reporting Services takes place in the familiar TARGIT environment. New reports are created step-by-step by selecting the desired element for your report in the Meta Morphing interface, “I would like to create a Reporting Services Report…”.

Value-adding Features

Hyper Related OLAP - click on any figure (a calculation) in a Reporting Services report in order to look at it more closely. With a single click, you are taken to the analysis behind the figure.

Intelligent agents - you can set intelligent agents to watch figures in your reports that are relevant to you. The agent will automatically send you an e-mail notification when the selected figures deviate.

Schedule reports - once a report has been prepared, it may be scheduled for generation and distribution at any given interval. The system then ensures that the reports are sent to the right employees at the right time.

Report Templates - this innovative new tool enables you to save any report you would like as a template. This means that information like fonts, frames, colors and of course your company logo is preserved whereas data specific information will disappear. This feature facilitates the process of making a report. You can base any report - created via Intelligent Analysis or manually - on a template and easily give your company’s reports a consistent look. You can go directly to inserting your data, which makes you save time – and clicks!

The analyses are based on information stored in the company’s data warehouse. The analysis client establishes a complete overview of the desired areas and provides facilities to analyze any aspect, across all the company’s business areas.

“I would like to analyze…” - the Meta Morphing tool is a unique analysis wizard that helps users create new analyses. It guides the user through to the desired result by asking a series of questions. Analyses made from scratch and by using the Meta Morphing tool are displayed on the screen, and tables and graphs can easily be customized to specific tasks and individual users.

One Click to See Details - analyses are never static. TARGIT’s Hyper Related Olap feature allows you to open detailed analyses of any given number in a report or analysis. This is done simply by clicking on the figure you wish to analyze further.

Intelligent Dashboards - intelligent Dashboards and scorecards can be created in very few clicks and will provide an overview of the company’s Key Performance Indicators through gauges and trend indicators. One truly unique feature is the ability of dashboards to automatically identify the organization’s biggest problems and biggest opportunities by looking at all company dashboards at the same time.  

Criteria Editor - create complex criteria in an analysis and work with both global and local criteria.

Timeslider - define time periods that are relevant to your analysis or dashboard.
