Since the dawn of the PC in the 1980s, Morten has been a pioneer in the software industry. Morten founded TARGIT in 1986 and has been involved in establishing several IT companies in Scandinavia and the US.

Morten has been leading TARGIT through 22 years of constant development and transformation.

Morten's academic path includes management education from Henley Management College and Scandinavian International Management Institute.

Morten is also an avid triathlete and has completed 2 Ironman competitions.

Dr. Morten Middelfart, CTO

At the age of 25, Morten Middelfart had established the business intelligence company, Morton Systems.

In 1996, Morton Systems was acquired by TARGIT, and Morten Middelfart was hired as CTO of TARGIT. The TARGIT BI Suite we know today is based on the technologies and ideas from Morton Systems. Morten leads the technological development of TARGIT. Morten is educated from Henley Management College in the UK (MBA) and holds not one, but two Ph.D.'s - one from Rushmore University in the US, where he publishing the groundbreaking book about Computer Aided Leadership and Management (CALM) and the other from Aalborg University about his revolutionary data mining mechanism Sentinels.

In his sparetime, Morten is an experienced skydiver and instructor with more than 1400 jumps and a few B.A.S.E. jumps behind him.

Flemming G. Madsen, VP of Sales

Flemming G. Madsen started his career at TARGIT in 1991. Back then, TARGIT sold ERP systems for retail customers and with a background in retail Flemming understood the needs of this group of customers.

Today, TARGIT delivers business intelligence solutions to all lines of industries all over the world, and Flemming has played a significant role in transforming TARGIT from a national player in the IT industry to now being a world-wide supplier of business intelligence.

Flemming leads the continued enlargement of TARGIT's extensive network of dedicated distributors and resellers throughout the world.

Flemming is a very skilled golf player, tours the world for challenging golf courses and holds several club championships from the local golf club. We recommend not betting high if you challenge Flemming in a game of golf.
