I started programming when I was 13 years old, and quickly fell in love with working with data and databases. 

As a developer for TARGIT, I enjoy learning new programming languages, and I've worked with everything from COBOL, Turbo C, BASIC, PHP to .NET. I also enjoy helping people learn to love programming and seeing what they can do. I was recently named a Google Developer Expert (GDE), which is a perfect alignment of my love of learning and teaching others. I'll be blogging about my experiences working within the Google community here on the TARGIT blog.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and moved to Europe 16 years ago -- I love it here. I raised my daughter mostly as a single mom, and she's 20 now. I am also a hobby bee keeper. I have my own little bee army in my garden.
