Director of Sales and Marketing Operations

Director of Sales and Marketing Operations sought by TARGIT (US), Inc. for Tampa, FL location.



  • Develop and execute strategy for the sale and marketing of customer-centric systems, including management of internal and external resources.
  • Manage Business Development Resources (BDR) operations, including overseeing day-to-day operations as well as developing and implementing processes.
  • Perform product marketing related activities, such as market research and negotiating marketing contracts.
  • Report on company performance to management and Board of Directors.
  • Deliver market research and recommendations for market positioning to the executive group.
  • Manage the internal development team and external consultants and business partners.
  • This position manages and supervises five business development resources that are responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within targeted verticals; and one (1) part time developer that is responsible for developing HubSpot, Salesforce, and other business systems.
  • Travel is required for select trade shows across the US and international travel to corporate HQ in Denmark several times a year, approximately 10-15% of time.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or the foreign equivalent) in Technology Management.
  • Five (5) years of work experience implementing, developing, and maintaining sales and marketing processes to support software sales.
  • Three (3) years of experience implementing and integrating marketing tools and platforms for web, marketing automation, email-marketing, and analytics.
  • Three (3) years of experience defining and communicating Business Intelligence (BI) development tasks to cross functional teams using Microsoft Business Intelligence toolset (or similar) and BI infrastructure.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing relationships with leading BI analysts, including delivering vendor presentations and briefings.
  • Three (3) years of experience developing competitive strategies and go to market plans using a verticalized market approach and an understanding of global industry trends for business intelligence.
