Microsoft Convergence 2014 drew to a close the same way the convention opened: with enough passion, excitement, and motivation to fill … well … the Georgia World Congress Center. And for those of you who spent the past week there, you know exactly how large that space is!
There were once again more educational sessions, and plenty of demos taking place at the TARGIT booth. It was thrilling to watch so many prospective customers and partners as that moment of wow rolled across their faces. Even a day later, participants were still stopping by the booth to tell us how much they enjoyed Dr. Morton’s session on Wednesday. For those who missed it, we’ll be making it available for free download on the website soon.
In just three days, it was evident the TARGIT footprint was growing. Not only right here in the U.S., but within our rapidly expanding Latin American market. We’re so proud the TARGIT team of sales professionals and TARGIT experts who worked tirelessly this week. Well, perhaps “tirelessly” isn’t exactly true … everyone will sleep well tonight!
But that’s part of what we love about TARGIT. We’re passionate about bringing the best possible Business Intelligence & Analytics solution to our partners and customers. We’re developing the breakthrough technology that is changing the game, and making it possible for company decision makers to travel through the OODA loop faster than ever—from Observation, Orientation, Decision, and Action.
And, quite frankly, that passion is contagious. And in an arena like Convergence, we’re able to bring that passion to the front lines to make true connections with those we meet.
As the booth hours ended, TARGIT celebrated with a Denmark-meets-Boston-inspired happy hour. We served up both Carlsberg and Sam Adams beers to whoever stopped by—a small homage to the first TARGIT office and the newest. As I mentioned in my first Convergence post, we’ve come a long way as a company, and we’ve got a long way to go still. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun along the way.
Speaking of FUN, the band took the stage at Philips Arena as the official closing celebrations for another great Convergence. Microsoft sure knows how to throw a party. Hey, @MSDynamics, my birthday is in October. Just sayin’.
Thank you to our TARGIT team members, partners, and customers, as well as everyone who stopped by booth 2421 this week to see us in action. We’re so excited to share our new technology with you and celebrate our new partnerships with companies like Jet Reports and Radley. Not to mention, it was a true honor to be the only BI and Analytics provider at Convergence to have once again been named in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant.
