Thank you to everyone who joined us last week in Tampa, Fla., at TARGIT Decision Day 2013!
The event was a huge success, leaving everyone at TARGIT feeling energized and inspired and we hope you felt the same way too. The day was packed with sessions from TARGIT employees, super users, partners, and customers.
TARGIT CEO Morten Sandlykke launched into the day with his keynote on what we call the Courage to Act. Whether that’s getting back on the bike after a rough crash or challenging yourself in new and intimidating work scenarios, you can’t progress without courage.
We covered such topics as Developing, Implementing, and Using Winning KPIs, in which keynote speaker David Parmenter dished on his decades of experience coaching businesses to best use Key Performance Indicators to increase efficiency and gain the competitive advantage. You can also read David’s series on performance measurement in previous posts here on the TARGIT blog.
TARGIT CTO Morten Middelfart presented his session on Supporting the Decision Loop with Intelligence in which he showed how BI can take you from around the OODA loop from decision to action faster, more efficiently, and more intelligently than ever before. New data is emerging all the time and big data is the future. How are you going to harness it?
From there, the day sprinted on with two separate tracks, each with topics and specialties geared towards professionals in every industry. Meanwhile, we held a contest for one lucky participant to win a chance to skydive with Morten Middelfart. Did you know our CTO is a certified skydiver?
We held a similar contest over the next few days at the NAVUG Forum, AXUG, CRMUG, GPUG Summit. Stay tuned for a blog post with contest winner Jesus Carbajal from Nissin Foods de Mexico about taking the plunge with Morten.
That night, we treated attendees to dinner on location at the Tampa Museum of Art with some rather unique entertainment. If you missed it, you can catch up on all the great sessions and conversations in our Decision Day video library coming soon. We hope you can join us again next year at Decision Day 2014. And thank you again to everyone who made this year’s event such a success.
