helping the company better optimize their business practices, DANÆG was eager to add TARGIT Data Service to their toolbox as soon as it became available.

DANÆG was instantly up and running with TARGIT Data Service. It was fast and easy for users to get to work right away with new reports and analyses in the familiar TARGIT environment.
“Office meetings are often based on analyses in TARGIT and during those meetings, we can load new data in less than a minute if we want to test a theory or compare some numbers to industry data or data from some of the many campaigns we run,” says Niels Nybro Bolding, DANÆG IS/ERP Manager. “That has become an extremely valuable functionality to us.”
TARGIT Data Service gives DANÆG the possibility to work in an innovative test environment instead of waiting for the data to be available in their existing data warehouse like they previously had to do. If an analyses proves useful, they have unlimited access to that data source. If it doesn’t, very little time or effort was used to find out.
Better control and comprehension of the business
Bolding believes that the use of Data Service helps all their TARGIT users better define gaps and opportunities because they can evaluate balances in a flash.
“I believe our TARGIT users have come to a point where they understand our business even better than before because of the new possibilities we have with Data Service,” he says.
In the future, Bolding sees even more possibilities with TARGIT Data Service, such as to collect new data from DANÆG production sites or other business units they want to analyze instantly.
It didn’t take DANÆG long to confirm that Data Service can expand the company’s options to incorporate new data sources and create an entirely new and data-driven perspective of the business.
“It’s fair to say we are very pleased with the possibilities we get from Data Service,” Bolding concludes. “The only downside about this add on to our existing TARGIT solution is the extra work it means to me and the rest of our organization … new insight into our business means a commitment to act upon it!”
