Welcome and thanks for using TARGIT! The privacy and security of your information is very important to us and we would like to inform you about how your information is gathered, stored and used.
What information do we collect?
First and foremost, your information belongs to you. We do not claim any rights to your information. We also do not collect and store any personally identifiable information, nor do we store any TARGIT related data. When you access your data from TARGIT clients, your data stays on your TARGIT system. You are in complete control of the information you access and choose to share. Your data is not stored on our systems.
However, like most applications, we may collect certain technical information about your use of the TARGIT client though this is not information that could be used to identify you without reference to other information. For example, we may collect your operating system type, browser type, IP address, the identity of your internet service provider (ISP) (together “Non-personal Information”). In addition, your TARGIT system collects basic information about how the system is used, such as how often a user clicks a button, access a menu item, or opens a document (“Telemetry Data”). No customer data, personally identifiable or demographic information is included within the Telemetry Data. The Telemetry Data is stored locally for each Instance of the TARGIT system and is uploaded to a TARGIT database each time a user logs into the system. The default setting in the TARGIT System is to collect and send the Telemetry Data to TARGIT. However, you can turn off the Telemetry Data reporting feature in the Setup settings in TARGIT Management.
We track and reference this information, to better understand how well TARGIT is working and to make improvements to TARGIT.
