TARGIT CTO Dr. Morten Middelfart has been accepted to present his research with Aalborg University at the VLDB (Very Large Database) conference in Singapore this September.
VLDB is a premier annual international forum for data management and database researchers, vendors, practitioners, application developers, and users.
Morten Middelfart will present TARGIT Sentinels and demonstrate the use and effects of the technology. Sentinels are digital watchdogs that warn you about possible threats to important objectives set by an organization. Sentinels provide you with the opportunity to react before the threat becomes real based on an effective analysis of all the organizational data: an analysis, which is created without the need for technical knowledge. All you need to know to use Sentinels are the objectives (or key performance indicators), you wish to reach.
"The presentation and demonstration of Sentinels places TARGIT as an important contributor to academic research and not only as a software developer", explains the CTO.
The VLDB Conferences constitute one of the most eminent venues for the timely dissemination of research and development results in the field of database management. This series is perhaps the most international (in terms of participation, technical content, organization, and location) among all comparable events.
