TARGIT increases focus on USA

May 03, 2011
The continued growth on the US market has made TARGIT strengthen its presence in the country. The company’s CTO Dr. Morten Middelfart has left his home country Denmark and moved to Tampa in Florida, where TARGIT US Inc. is located.

“I have decided to move to USA to evangelize the benefits of our core product on TARGIT’s fastest growing market”, says the migrated CTO. 2010 figures show that TARGIT experienced growth of more than 20 percent on the US market when compared to 2009.

Morten Middelfart, who is holding two PhD’s and is an experienced public speaker, will participate in various events and talk about his research and TARGIT. “I will talk about the synergies between man and computer and how these synergies can bring businesses to a new level of success”.

Morten Middelfart will remain CTO of TARGIT and keep developing the core product TARGIT BI Suite.

“My position as CTO is unchanged. Moving to USA simply brings me closer to the customers in this important market. It gives me a chance to see why our unique product is a success for us and our customers and to understand how to make all of us even more successful”, concludes Morten Middelfart.

TARGIT will be represented at numerous events all over the US this summer. TARGIT will be at the Ross Enterprise SIG in Austin, Texas May 10-12, the Business Growth Expo 2011 in Tampa, Florida May 12 and at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in L.A., Ca July 10-14.

The US office has also just hired a marketing coordinator and is looking for an account manager and a business intelligence consultant.
