TARGIT awarded most innovative IT solution at CeBIT

March 12, 2012
TARGIT's Business Intelligence solution TARGIT BI Suite was awarded the most innovative IT solution in the Business Intelligence category at the World's largest IT trade fair; the CeBIT tradeshow in Germany.

The jury, consisting of more than 100 professors, scientists, industry experts and journalists, awarded TARGIT BI Suite the prize on the following criteria; Innovation, practical relevance and usability for the Mid-Market (medium-sized businesses with up to 1,000 employees).

TARGIT CTO Dr. Morten Middelfart feels honored about the award. “TARGIT is proud to be recognized for our structured and methodical effort towards user-friendliness – originating from our CALM philosophy. Our innovative “fewest clicks” discipline is the catalyst that delivers actionable decisions to practical problems throughout our customers’ organizations. Getting the TARGIT technology awarded at CeBIT by a highly competent panel from both business and academia is truly a great honor.”

General Manager Mr. Thomas Veit of TARGIT DACH, the TARGIT Distributor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is also happy with the award: “The jury mentioned the excellent usability of TARGIT BI Suite as one of the main reasons for the award, which made us extremely happy. We know that user-friendliness is becoming more important. And more users in companies will benefit from a BI solution to make fact based decisions if the solution is user-friendly.”

The award, INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT 2012, is handed out by “Initiative Mittelstand” in 40 categories and more than 2500 companies applied for the award. The “Initiative Mittelstand supports small and medium-sized corporations as a strong partner to help them to make the right decisions concerning their IT strategy.
