Million dollar software adventure in India

June 12, 2013
An exclusive agreement with Indian IT Cloud Services provider makes Boston-based IT company TARGIT a success in the growing Indian market.

TARGIT, who develops Business Intelligence software for organizations worldwide, sees great potential in India. “It is a partner agreement with significance,” states TARGIT CSO Mr. Flemming Madsen, and he continues, “Emkor has entered a deal where they invest more than 1.5m USD in marketing TARGIT over next three years, but we expect double the amount on the enormous market.”

“Lots of Indian IT vendors have courted us over the years, but the inquiries have never been serious or interesting enough. However, Emkor have shown thoroughness and integrity in the initial phase of their approach. They are a modern corporation excelling with business software in the cloud, and they have simply seen the light in our product,” explains Flemming Madsen.

CEO at Emkor Mr. Vikram Dham agrees with Flemming Madsen. “We are happy to introduce TARGIT in India. We have expanded our portfolio of cloud based solutions with the addition of the world’s best BI and analytics tool. Our industry and domain knowledge, coupled with the specialization of TARGIT, is a compelling offering that we sincerely believe will be a game changer for Indian SMB market.”

The agreement between Emkor and TARGIT was made at the important Microsoft show Convergence in New Orleans, USA this past March.
Flemming Madsen concludes: “We have given Emkor the exclusive rights to market TARGIT to the Indian market of users of Microsoft’s business software portfolio “Dynamics”. And we are talking thousands of customers in that segment in India. We expect lots of business.”

Emkor will become a large distributor in the TARGIT organization, which is represented with distributors in almost 20 countries and more than 300 partners around the world.
