TARGIT Expands U.S. Footprint with New Senior Vice President of Sales

Former Microsoft Alliance Director takes the helm at TARGIT

TARGIT has appointed Dave Boulet as Senior Vice President of Sales to respond to the company’s significant growth ambition. He is charged with expanding the company’s leadership in the Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Visualization space, as well as managing all sales and partner activities globally. This position will operate out of the TARGIT Boston office.

Boulet comes to TARGIT with a strong record of success in software sales. He has an established network and valuable experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, having most recently served as U.S. Alliance Director at Microsoft. The scope of Boulet’s new role allows him to leverage his prior experience in the global technology market and expand TARGIT’s leadership position globally.

“My passion is expanding companies and building high performance sales and partner teams that focus on delivering real value to clients,” says Boulet. “I’m thrilled to join the TARGIT team at a time when the BI and Analytics market is truly beginning to thrive. Having been in the game for some time now, it’s exciting to see what TARGIT is doing. They’re an established company with patented IP that is poised for significant growth, and I already foresee a significant impact on the Analytics space. With a predominantly European footprint and leadership position, the growth potential in the U.S. and other expanding markets is an intriguing challenge.”

This strategic move comes with the company’s restructuring of their Global Services. Flemming Madsen will continue to focus on the EMA market as the Director of Sales, EMEA. And TARGIT COO Ulrik Pedersen will now be responsible for consultancy and education worldwide.

“The TARGIT Board of Directors and Management jointly recognize the great effort that Flemming has done in building a growing international sales channel,” says Morten Sandlykke, TARGIT CEO. “These moves ensure maximum focus on software sales in the sales organization as well as strengthened synergy between product management, consultancy, and pre-sales. The overall ambition is to increase segmentation and scalability of all processes from product development to marketing and from sales to service.”
