BARC BI Survey 16 Ranks TARGIT a Leader Across 18 Categories

The world’s largest independent survey of business intelligence software users says TARGIT customers have the best implementer support of all visual discovery vendors.
BOSTON-- BARC, one of the world's leading analyst companies for data management, business intelligence and enterprise content management, officially released the results of this year’s BI Survey. BARC’s “The BI Survey 16” report is based on findings from the world’s largest and most comprehensive survey of business intelligence end users. Of the market’s leading 37 products that were analyzed in detail across its peer groups, TARGIT was a leading vendor in 18 categories. Additionally, the solution, TARGIT Decision Suite, received year-over-year high remarks from its users across both the Visual Discovery-focused products and OLAP analysis-focused products peer groups.

TARGIT’s increased ranking in both the OLAP-analysis focused products and Visual Discovery-focused products peer groups signal the platform’s abilities to support both traditional as well as visual discovery BI use cases within organizations. TARGIT is one of the leading visual discovery-focused products that organizations are using as their standard BI solution.

In comparison, TARGIT customers are more satisfied with the product, vendor support and implementation support where TARGIT tops the list of the mentioned vendors. In sum, TARGIT has higher overall customer satisfaction than Power BI, Qlik and Tableau.

In the OLAP analysis-focused products peer group, TARGIT Decision Suite ranks consistently outstanding in business value, data volume capabilities, innovation and data discovery/visualization.

The Survey continues: “TARGIT ranks as one of the leading OLAP analysis-focused products in providing business value to its customers. This KPI aggregates results from the ‘Business Benefits,’ ‘Project success,’ ‘Price-to-value perception,’ ‘Project length,’ and ‘Innovation’ KPIs. These results show that TARGIT’s customers see Decision Suite as an affordable product that offers them the functionality they require along with a good level of innovation.”

TARGIT predicts the market’s ongoing interest and reliance on cloud-based data sources and tools will only grow stronger. As such, the platform’s new capabilities in the most recent software update shows it is on the right track to tap into this emerging market, as noted by BARC:
