I'm probably missing something very simple here - however is there a way which i can change the default date format from:

MM/DD/YYYY eg 11/21/2012

to

DD/MM/YYY eg 211//11/2012

Many Thanks

Hi Chris,

The TARGIT client will adhere to the Regional Settings of your PC. The MM/DD/YYYY format is normally due to US regional settings.

Hi Ole

The local machine and the Targit server are both set to DD/MM/YYYY format, however Targit still outputs as MM/DD/YYYY

Any ideas?

Hi Chris

Assuming your data source is an Analysis Services cube, your date property in the cube might be defined using a string. If so, the format is fixed and cannot be changed. In order to change this, you will have to get the cube changed to use date in the definition - or change the string to the format you want.
