Hi Targit

I am trying to create a report where sections are based on comparisons rather than a dimension, is that posible?

Istead of wanting 3 subsections devided on years (2012, 2011, 2010).

I would like to have 3 subsections based on a comparison (jan 2012, jan 2011, jan 2010).

It is not really ralated only to the time dimension but also other dimensions as well?

Thanks in advance.

No. I am afraid not. The sections in a report will only work on dimension members as they have been defined in the cube. In the above example you might want to try to add two separate dimensions to the section band: [Year] and[Month]. Of course, this requires that they alreadey exist as two separate dimensions - not just as two level in the same hierarchy. Furthermore, add a global criteria to the report: Month = January... Just an idea...
