I created a calculated member named "OTHERS" in one of the cube dimension eg. Manufacturer dimension. This calculated member group all the manufacturers that do not belong to the top 10 manufacturers.

The problem is that this calculated member "OTHERS" keeps on appearing my TARGIT report even if I am not creating a top 10 list report. How can I filter out a calculated member from a dimension in TARGIT?

To TARGIT (and to any other BI application, I guess) a calculated dimension member will look like any other dimension member. So it cannot be treated any way different than other dimension members. In other words, in the TARGIT client, you will have to add a 'different from' criterion like:

Manufacturer dimension <> OTHERS

Alternatively, in a cross tab where rows are based on the manufacturer dimension, you can hide the 'OTHERS' row with a visibility agent like:

allcount(d1, d1:0, m1) = allcount(d1, d1:@"[OTHERS]", m1)
