Hi there,

I'm trying to get a calculation working where I count the days, when the item was on stock. In normal MDX I get it working, but Targit somehow changes the filter behavior and I can't get it to work.

The Calculation looks as followed:
Code:

WITH MEMBER [Measures].[On-Stock]
AS distinctcount((
existing ([Inventory Date].[Date].[All].Children,[Measures].[Stock In Warehouse])
))

This is my "hand-made" Query which works perfectly.
Code:

select { [Measures].[On-Stock] } on 0,
{ [Item].[Item Number].&[XY] } on 1
from Stocks
where [Inventory Date].[Date].[01-08-2013]:[Inventory Date].[Date].[31-08-2013]

When I try to do that in Targit, I sniffed the following Query with the profiler:
Code:

SELECT { [Measures].[On-Stock] } ON 0,
NON EMPTY [Item].[Item Number].&[XY] DIMENSION PROPERTIES PARENT_UNIQUE_NAME, MEMBER_TYPE, MEMBER_KEY ON 1
FROM (
SELECT StripCalculatedMembers({{ [Inventory Date].[Date].[All].& [20130801] : [Inventory Date].[Date].[All].& [20130831] }}) ON 0
FROM [Stocks]
)

How do I have to change the calculation, so that the calculated member uses the filter provided by Targit?

Best regards
Eckhard
