We have a new table which has department and total expense. Can we add a new calculation if department = "Mgf", then 00?
thank you

Hi Ching

It can be done using the TARGIT syntax in a calculation.

In this crosstable:

I want to replace the value of the Item called Levis, Lime XL - which is part of the product group JEANS.

This calculation basically says - if we counted our way down to [JEANS].[Levis, Lime XL] then put a zero in else just transfer the current value unchanged
if count(d1, d1:0, m1) = count(d1, d1:@"[JEANS].[Levis, Lime XL]", m1) then 0 else sum(d1, 0, m1)

Then you just need to hide your original column and only look at the calculated one.

Hope it makes sense-
