I have a problem with my dynamic date criteria.

I have imported my budget for 2014, and i'm having two Time Dimensions on my cube.

- One regular time dimension
- One company specific time dimension (we are running 4-4-5 weeks in each quarter)

The regular time dimension is not causing the error i am describing below. It is only caused by the company specific time dimension.

When I am looking at my budget figures for 2014 i can use dynamic time (year to date). When i am changing the "Dynamic date origin" the figures updated correctly in the first 5 months of 2014. My problem occurs when i am changing the date origin from 25-05-2014 to 26-05-2014. In our company time dimension this is where May is changing to June.

When i set the Dynamic date origin to 26-05-2014, i get the error

Quote:

Query failed

Command=Analysis request
Error=Request failed
Detail=Range operator (:) operands have different levels; They must be the same

This cross tabulation shows KG_ per

Criteria on dynamic periods are simulated to originate from Monday, May 26, 2014

The following global criteria affects this object:
-Time TEP_YQMW must be between This year and This year This week

As you can see from above, i have no other dimensions in the analysis, and i have only on measure (KG).

Choosing the dates manually (without using dynamic time) works fine.

Please help :)

Hi Morten

Your settings in the TimeDef on the dimension is most likely wrong.

If you have set it up yourself I would go through the manual again, alternatively log this as a support task in the support system and have our support team work with you on this (this typically requires a lot of screenshots and information to resolve - usually I do this through a GotoMeeting)
