Hi,

I'm trying to create a crosstab with months on columns and some measures. I get months on the columns and all the measures below every month (as expected) but I would like to get first the measures and then the months so I can compare every measure across months.
I'm using another dimension on the rows so using Measures Down option does not really help.
Is there a solution for that?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rafael

Have you tried to right-click on the crosstab and selecting: Table-> Calculations under each other?
Best regards

Páll, CTS

Hi Páll,

I cannot find this menu item, do you mean measures down? I also tried this function but could not help because I have another dimension attached to the rows.

Hi Rafael

If I understand you correctly, you basically want to change:

Jan Feb Mar
500 700 900

into

500 700 900
Jan Feb Mar

This is unfortunately currently not possible in the TARGIT client.

Hope it makes sense.

Hi Niels,

That's not exactly what I need. I will explain you below:

This is what I get:

January February March
Revenues Costs Revenues Costs Revenues Costs
1100 100 1300 110 1200 95

And I would like to get this:

Revenues Costs
January February March January February March
1100 1300 1200 100 110 95

The problem is that Revenues and Costs are measures, not dimension members so I cannot put it on top.
Any solution for that?

Unfortunately the answer is the same - currently not possible.
Hope it makes sense.

Hi Rafael

There is no easy way of doing this, but there is actually a workaround in TARGIT, but it will take you some time to format it like this.

UserPostedImage

Take your existing crosstab and add a comparison with two elements, Revenue and Cost. Don't add any criterias to those two elements.
In define mode, make sure the comparison is before the month dimension.
Format visibility so you remove Cost under Revenue and Revenue under Cost (the time consuming part).

Let us know if it helps you getting the job done :)

Hi Søren,

That's exactly what I needed. I've created the analysis and it works perfect.
Thank you so much!

Rafael
