Hello there

I have a question, that I hope you can help me with.

I need to export batch scheduled reports to separate folders on our servers. Is this possible without having to make seperate reports and schedule them individually?

Best regards,
Niels Thomsen

Hi Jimmi

The batch feature of the report scheduler generates individual files for all recipients filtered with the criteria of the dimension that is chosen for batching. All the reports are placed in the same folder - you can't "batch folders" - meaning: assign a certain folder to a certain dimension value.

So either you would have to create a number of scheduled jobs - still using the batch option to get the filtering right - but only checking one recipient per job...
...or create a procedure (outside TARGIT) that picks up the files and places them in the appropriate folders once the scheduled job has been run.

Hope it makes sense.

Hope it makes sense.
