I have a crosstab with three columns, Amount posted per department per account number and with totals pr department and grand total.

For account number 1234 I always want to do a calculation and the calculated number must be included in the total for the department the amount is posted in.

How can I do this? And if a department which hasn't posted anything on this account number before suddenly posts something on this account number it has to be calculated automatically.

Hi

Could you please submit a screenshot of the scenario...
Can’t clearly see the crosstab.
Which are measures and dimension and how are the dimensions split on the axis?
Best regards

I don't know how to upload a picture to this forum.

I have Department dimension and account number on the left axis and amount posted on the right axis. Under each department you see a list of accounts and the amount posted on them.

For the calculations I see two options:
1. Keep the original amount and present the additional calculated amount as a new row under each department which has posted something to that account number. The amount needs to be added to the department total and the grand total.

2. Hide the original amount/row and present the calculated amount as a new row which includes the amount from the original amount posted on that account. The amount needs to be added to the department total and the grand total.
