Hi everyone,

I have a crosstab in which I use the top list/pareto analysis to perform a rank. I have created a comparison including all the elements I want to rank and a total element which includes all of them.

The rank is ok, but it does not seem to work for the elements in my total. How can I solve this?

A sample is this:

Comparison Rank top 3
A 100 A 100
B 50 B 50
C 30 C 30
D 20 A,B,C,D 200 while the desired result is A,B,C 180
A,B,C,D 200

Thanks in advance.

Hi Katerina,

Could you please add a proper screenshot of your problem. I cannot see the problem from the current post.

Attaching screenshots is explained here: http://www.targit.com/en...?g=posts&t=66#post91

Hello,

An attached example is this:

If you add the first column the result in the Total is not correct, which means that the rank is not calculated for the total element.

Thanks very much!

Sorry for the size, I didn't calculate it right. Hope it makes sense!

Hi Katerina,

The solution depends on how you made your top list.

First, please try to add a calculated row to your crosstab with this formula syntax:

sum(0, all(v), 0)

However, since I don't know how the rest of your columns have been made, you may see incorrect results in these.

Please let me know, and if necessary, attach another screenshot.

Hi Ole,

Thanks for the answer. I am afraid that the total row won't help because apart from the sum there are some columns with percentages.

Even if I use this total row for percentages, the format has to be the same for both numbers and percentages, which is a problem.

Thank you very much for your time.
