We have to find a formula to extract different objects from dimensions.

The following the scenario is ours :

Aggregation of all the measures ( X ax)
Below on the ( Y ) ax we several dimensions like ; date/year, market and submarket

On the bar graph we want show different colors bars based on all the objects in 2 dimensions
( in this case different market and submarket)

Somebody know an good formula to show all the items in the 2 dimensions objects

Many thanks in advance

Hi Gerd

I’m not quite sure that I get the full picture.
Have you considered using multiple objects and exploiting the cool drill down criteria?

If this is not an option could you please submit a drawing of the decried result and the crosstab that feeds the result?
Best regards

The idea is that each of the bars in the graph is representing objects out of 2 dimensions, in this case market and submarket. And each of those bars should have a specific color ( following a defined color schema ) Is there a possible formula where you can point out a certain color to a certain market and submarket object ? Please check the attached screenshot.

I hope i'm a bit more clear of i would like to achive in Targit.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Gerd

It is possible to color elements in objects via “Color and Gauge Agents”.
If there are a limited number members in the dimension I would suggest then following TARGIT hack.
Fist count the row number of the JEANS “Artikkelgruppe column”
allcount(d1, d1:@"[JEANS]"(l1), m1)
Then check if current row equals then JEANS row.
if allcount(d1, d1:@"[JEANS]"(l1), m1) = allcount(d1, d1:0(l1), m1) then 2 else 0

Then create one “Color and Gauge Agent” for each color you want to use.
Adjust the new agent color and member reference: @"[XXXYYYZZZ]"

Bar chart wisualation with different colores.

Watch out for new mebers on the “Artikkelgruppe” level. These will have to be added manaually. On the plusside new mebers can be added on the lowes level in the hierarcy and the presentation still will be correct.
NB The “measure test color” column only serves instructional purposes.
Best regards
