Hi All

I hope this finds you well?

I have a question re the location of the Gauges folder in TargIT 2014. We have the software installed in a Managed Services environment and as such it is difficult for us to get access to the Gauges folder on the C:\ drive due to security policies etc which I understand.

Is there anyway to change the path of where TargIT looks for the Gauges, that way we could change it to a shared folder that we have access to in the Managed Service environment?

I am not that hopeful but it is worth asking.

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon,

Gauges are normally saved in C:\ProgramData\TARGIT\ANTServer\VFS\Gauges.

You cannot move the Gauges folder itself, but you can actually move the entire ANTServer folder, including the Gauges folder.

Once you have moved the ANTServer folder, you will need to modify the LocalSettings.xml file in C:\Program Files\TARGIT\ANTServer. Modify the <basedir path> to reflect the new location.

Best regards,
Ole

Hi Ole

That is perfect...exactly what we want! That means we also get access to the full VFS folder which gives us all the control we need.

Thanks for the resolution so quickly!

Have a good week.

Jon
