I have built a speedometer gauge showing sales vs budget. My original sales and budget amounts are negative since I get my data from finance accounts. In my crosstab I use "reverse signs" to show the values as positive values, this works great in my reports for crosstabs and charts.
So far so good.
Then I created a gauge of the crosstab, but the gauge shows negative values. So it looks quite strange having the gauge moving the wrong way (to the left) towards bigger and bigger negative numbers.
How can the gauge be set to reverse signs?

I solved this with creating a new calculated column where I multiplied my amount with -1, not an elegant way to solve it but at least it works.
Is there any other way to solve it?

Your solution of creating a calculated column, multiplied by -1, is probably the best solution - if not the only solution.
