Hi,

We are planning to roll out TARGIT 2015 as a central automatic installation package.
This is working fine, but the windows client then starts up with servername = localhost.

In earlier versions, there was a file called:
loginmru.default.xml

.. located in the C:\Program Files\TARGIT\Analysis directory.

Here autologin and server name settings were controlled:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<loginmru autologin="true">
<server name="Targit" type="sspi"/>
</loginmru>

Does anyone know where this configuration is stored in TARGIT 2015?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Morten,

The loginmru.default.xml file is now located in C:\ProgramData\TARGIT\Analysis.

Note that C:\ProgramData by default is hidden, so you will need to go into your Folder View options to make hidden folders visible.

Hi Ole,

Thanks for the quick response.

I found the file, but it seems like TARGIT is not using it?
When enabling and disabling autologin, the configuration file is not changed?
The same goes for server name.

Hi Morten,

The loginmru.default.xml file contains the default login settings to be used by any new users logging on to the system.

It will not have any effect on existing users, nor will this xml file be changed by changes in your personal login.

Existing users will have a personal loginmru.xml file on their local computers in
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\TARGIT

If you delete this file, existing users will fall back to the loginmru.default.xml settings.

If you change your login settings during the login screen, these changes will be written to the local loginmru.xml file.

Best regards,
Ole
