Hi,

I was wondering whether there is a way to "prompt" and ask for a specific value (e.g. product-item-number), before loading a TARGIT analysis?

Other BI tools, have this option, so when opening an analysis/report tailored for this, it will first ask for e.g. the product-item-number.

In TARGIT, we currently have to put the product-item-number in the criteriebar, load the analysis then search for the product-item-number. This is quite time consuming though.

Thank you in advance and please let me know if the above description needs clarification.

Hi Morten

I don’t think there is a TARGIT GUI facilitating a "prompt" asking for a specific value (e.g. product-item-number), before loading a TARGIT analysis?

In TARGIT you load the analysis and then you work your magic.
A solution built in another tool (e.g. SSAS) could generate a MDX request, which checks for a specific value before the dataset is loaded into TARGIT.
Best regards

Páll, CTS
