I've been tasked with installing Targit Decision Suite 2015. This is my first time installing Targit and the release notes I was given leave me unsure of how to proceed. First we are currently running Targit BI Suite 2K11, build 5418. We have 5 tables each over 10 million records and licensed for 50 users. Our current server is a VM running on Windows Server 2008 R2. The SQL Server 2008 R2 is installed on a different VM. Given this information is there a “Best Practice” for installing Targit 2015? Can we use all VM’s or are a combination of VM’s and physical preferred? I read that cubes should run on SSD’s and wondered if this is a must? Ok ladies and gentlemen, help a brother out! Any tips, tricks and advice will be welcomed and appreciated.

Hi Randy

The update/installation process is described in detail in TARGIT's installation and configuration guide. If you need assistance, please raise a ticket in our tech support system.
