My "TARGIT" SQL database, the database containing the Targit_Log, Targit_Logcrit etc.

shall this database run in Full recovery mode or is is enougt it runs in Simple mode

Hi Allain

If you do not have a recovery plan including backup procedures for the database or do not need to be able to recover to a specific point in time, using the full recovery model is of no use and will only take up unnecessary disk space.

Only if TARGIT usage logging is mission critical - e.g. if user logging is required by law or internal procedures - is it necessary to consider using full recovery for the TARGIT Auxiliary database, but then it also needs to be part of a wider recovery strategy.
