Hi

I have an analysis which split a measure over the dimensions department (x) / time (y). There are several departments which do not have any data, thus creating a long list on the x-asis without any data. How can I hide these rows in my analysis?

As the problem has been described by you, it should be possible to hide the empty rows by adding a visibility agent to the cross tab.

The condition for the visibility agent must be something like:

count(all, 0, m1) < 1

And the action must be “Hide Department member”.

Notice however that number formatting in the client might be set to display the value “0” as a blank cell.

The “count” function counts non-empty cells. A cell with the value “0” will be counted as non-empty, and thus the row will not be hidden.

Hi Lars,

I've had a similar problem and posted the solution I ended up with here: Excluding Members

However, it becomes quite cumbersome to make it dynamically and if you add more dimensions or comparisons, you need to be quite on your toes to update the condition as well.

Great suggestions both.

Thank you for fixing this issue of mine.
