Is it possible to combine data from different sources with different criteria in one combined bar chart?

For example one part of the data (from orders) needs criteria "invoice date = blank and shipment date = this year" and the other data (from invoices) needs criteria "invoice date <= year to date".

The data is now presented in different crosstabs with local criteria.

Any chart is in fact just a graphical representation of an underlying crosstab. So whether you are looking at a chart or at a crosstab, you are in fact looking at 'one object'. It is a general rule that any single object can show data from one single cube only.

So the answer is 'No', you cannot do what you want - unless you somehow manage to combine the required data into one single cube. I cannot tell if it will make sense to try to combine these data. To do it, will require manipulation in your Data Warehouse - or you may try using TARGIT Data Discovery...

With TARGIT Data Discovery you can create an analysis with the two required crosstabs; then add these two crosstabs as two separate 'TARGIT Analysis' data sources to Data Discovery, and finally create a new Data Discovery cube on those two data sources.
