Hi All

Background:
I have a KPI page of Icons which trigger to detailed pages if the user wants more information

One Icon has a Comparison, as rows, which compares combinations of Business Unit and Location. This has 14 rows and a 15th with no criteria. A calculation checks that sum d1:d-2 is equal to sum D-1 to be sure my combinations have not omitted a department/Location combination

It also has another comparison, as columns, showing "Yesterday", "Last Week", "Last Year".

Problem:
When I add a Global Criteria of one Department the numbers do not change - it is as if the Comparison ignores Global Criteria.

Question:
Does a Comparison Criteria have higher priority than Global Criteria?

Last Comment:
My intention in having the above detail was to allow users to see detail by switching to the table view. On "mature reflection" I will probably remove this complexity but I would like to understand the Targit behaviour first

Hi Ray

The priority is that Comparison Criteria has a higher priority than Global Criteria.
If you have an "empty" (None) Comparison Element, this will be "controlled by" the Global Criteria.

In Example A, both Retail and Wholesale are chosen as Global Criteria.
In Example B, only Retail is chosen as Global Criteria.
In Example C, only wholesale is chosen as Global Criteria.

Note how the "empty" (None) Comparison Element column "reacts" to the global criterion and how the CC Retail (=Casual Clothing Retail) Comparison Element column "ignores" the global criteria.
Best regards

Páll, CTS
