Hello Experts,

I have an analysis (Line Graph) having Inventory Values in y-axis and As of Dates (Period) on x-axis , and I have added comparison by Location(Which includes 4 locations).
So My question is : Can I add these comparisons in Criteria Bar so that I can select the two locations.
I tried By adding Location Code Dimension in criteria bar But its not working.
please help me ASAP its very urgent.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Manita,

I am afraid you cannot do that. One reason is the cardinality of the criteria involved. Once you have added a comparison to the the line chart, the criteria in the comparison elements will be stronger than any criteria you would like to add from the criteria bar (from the same dimension/comparison). I.e., even if you could select two locations, the line chart would still show all four locations.

I can only think of 'drag-and-drop comparisons' as something that might come close to the desired result: Create your line chart with Inventory Values and Period, but without the comparison. Create another object, a crosstab, with Inventory Value and the comparison with the four locations. Now, drag the elements you want to compare from the crosstab to the linechart. Notice, this will only work in the Windows client.
