Hi,
We are running Targit 17.3 (build 10169) and having trouble connecting the Targit client to the ANT server when outside our network via Windows 10 DirectAccess. No problem connecting to the Anywhere-client via Windows 10 DirectAccess. Also no problem via Windows 7 with OpenVPN.

Error: “Cannot connect to server…. no connection to the socket…”

I’ve been suggested, that it might be that the Targit client is trying to connect to the ANT-server via the IP-addreess instead of the fully qualified domain name.

Any experience connecting the Targit client to the ANT server via DirectAccess?

Hi

We encountered the same problem. We had a long dialogue with Targit, and as I understand it, its the client ability to connect by IPv6 thats the problem. However the issue was solved for us by updating to 17.4 version 10209.

Kind regards Thomas
