I am trying to add a new calculated member on visual studio as value/qty and process the cube, however this does not show in Targit. Basically I added the new field and it seems successful, process the cube but when I open Targit and the folder that is should reside it is not there. The idea is to create a new measure based on 2 existing columns. I can do that on targit too by using the 'add calculation column' as measure, but I will need to add that field to many other reports and it would be convenient to have this measure from the back-end part. I tried to add a new calculated name on the 'Data Source View' on visual studio and although successful there it still doesn't show up in Targit.

Some help would be gladly appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi Andi,

Almost all TARGIT solutions that are based Analysis Services cubes includes Calculated Members - so it is not a general problem that it doesn't show up in TARGIT.

Did you check:
- That you can see the added calculated member when using the cube browser within Visual Studio?
- That you didn't misspell the Display Folder name? Try to process it without a Display Folder - then you should see the Calculated Member on the root of your Source Data in the TARGIT Client.
- That you do not have any Roles settings (in TARGIT Management) that prevents you from seeing newly added source data.
