We are trying to automate our ETL using a bat file and commands from targit documentation.

Targit Documentation says to run the following code

REM Create targitDB

"C:\Program Files\TARGIT\TARGIT InMemoryDB\tiImport.exe" c:\path_to_impfile\my_import.imp

______________________________

Code I am using to match our environment

"D:\Program Files\TARGIT\TARGIT InMemoryDB\tiImport.exe" "D:\ProgramData\TARGIT\TARGIT InMemoryDB\ProjectFiles\AFF_ItemMaster\AFF_ItemMaster.improj"

The error I am getting when running my code is-

"line 1:0 mismatched input '<' expecting <EOF>
An Error occurred trying to parse the import file"

Can anyone please advise on how they automated running their ETL, or how to run a .bat file successfully?

.improj is the ETL Studio file format, while .imp is the published script format. You need to publish the ETL Studio script to the deployment format using ETL Studio before you can deploy it using the tiImport command line tool.
