To find: Top 5 customers in each region
My data is sorted in the following hierarchical manner

Region
Customer
Material-Size Tons Revenue

Material-size tons and revenue falling under Customer which is under Region (in a hierarchy)

I wish to display only the Top 5 customers in every region when Tons is arranged in the descending order.

When displaying the top 5 customers, it should also include the data following under that particular customer i.e. material-size, tons and revenue

E.g:

West-region
ABC-customer
medium-size 10 $56
fine-size 20 $100
EFG-customer
-
-

East-region
XYZ-customer
course-size 15 $70
medium-size 20 $95

PS: Top 5 customers

Hi Arpita,

I am not sure if Material-Size is a dimension or a measure. If it is a dimension, I would suggest that changed the order of dimensions so hat it becomes:

Region
Material-Size
Customer

The important thing is that Customer is the lowest level dimension. Because then you would be able to do something like this:

- Sort by Tons, descending order.
- Add a visibility agent: Hide member. Condition: allcount(d1, d1:0(s), m1) > 5 and allcount(d1, all(c), m1) = 0

If you cannot change the order of your dimensions, you could try this:

- Sort by Tons, descending order.
- Add a visibility agent: Hide member. Condition: allcount(d1, d1:0(s), m1) > 5 and allcount(d1, all(c), m1) <> 0

The latter option will also hide Regions outside top 5, but if you only have less than 5 regions, then it doesn't matter.
