We have a TargIT installation that is being rolled out in our group of companies.

To make collaboration across borders easier, we have two goals:

1. Everyone gets English language when they first access TargIT for the first time
2. Everyone that already has had TargIT opened gets their language preference reset to English

How do we accomplish these two goals?

Hi Rasmus,

Unfortunately, the way TARGIT has implemented personal language settings prevents you from doing what you want.

Today, the language setting is stored in an XML file on the local user's PC. On my PC it is here: "C:\Users\ole_d\AppData\Roaming\TARGIT\loginmru.xml". The reason why it is not stored Server site, is that TARGIT needs to know the language when launching the locally installed client which happens *before* the server is contacted.

However, I cannot imagine that it should be impossible to force a specific language in an automated way *after* the login. TARGIT just don't have this feature yet, so I recommend you to create an idea (feature request) through the support system: https://portal.targit.co...ownload-Support/Support. Maybe something like "Centrally managed UI langauge".
