Gartner, società leader tra gli analisti IT, ha posizionato TARGIT, azienda danese che sviluppa l’omonimo software di business intelligence, come "Niche Player" nel prestigioso "Magic Quadrant" (si veda "Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms" di Rita Sallam et al., gennaio 2011).
“Siamo orgogliosi di essere stati inclusi nel quadrante dei Niche Player da Gartner”, afferma il Direttore Generale di TARGIT Business Intelligence Morten Sandlykke. “Riteniamo che la presenza all’interno del Quadrante sosterrà la nostra crescita nel del mercato globale, nel quale miriamo a raggiungere la quota di 1,5 milioni di utenti entro il 2015”.

A leading IT analyst firm has placed Danish business intelligence software developer TARGIT as a “Niche Player” in the prestigious "Magic Quadrant" (see "Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms" by Rita Sallam et.al., January 2011).
“We are proud to be recognized by analyst firm Gartner as a Niche Player”, says TARGIT CEO Morten Sandlykke. “We believe the inclusion in the Quadrant will facilitate our growth in the global market, where we aim to reach 1.5 million users by 2015”.
According to Gartner, “ease of use is now surpassing functionality for the first time as the dominant BI platform buying criterion”. The report also states that “influential business users are increasingly driving BI purchasing decisions, most often choosing easier to use data discovery tools over traditional BI platforms — with or without IT's consent”.
“Ease of use is essentially our product philosophy”, explains TARGIT CTO Morten Middelfart. He is happy that Gartner recognized TARGIT in the report. "We want to give business insight in fewest clicks, and we feel that Gartner recognizes this - not least because of the users' judgments of TARGIT BI Suite".
In addition to ease of use, buyers look at affordability, which gives a vendor like TARGIT momentum.
