5 Second Feature: Dynamic Comparisons

Another peek at a unique TARGIT feature that allows easy drag-and-drop comparisons

Like I did in my last 5-Second Feature post about TARGIT Magic Drop, I again want to take you through another TARGIT intelligent feature that makes TARGIT so unique and makes the decision process that much faster and easier.

Today let's look at the Dynamic Comparison, also known as the "Drag and Drop Comparison."

TARGIT has a fantastic way of creating comparisons for groups of dimension attributes that do not exist in the data source. However, what if your users wanted to compare groups of attributes that make sense to them and help them better understand and make better decisions?

Well, for this TARGIT has the Dynamic Comparison feature. Dynamic Comparisons allow you to drag and drop any single or group of attributes from one TARGIT object to another. Let's take a look at what it's all about.

As an example, I have chosen my Revenue Management Analysis. This shows the distribution of revenue over the top 30 items: revenue per country (red if below and green if above last year's revenue) and revenue development over the last 12 months.

Now suppose that I would like to compare the revenue development of Denmark and France.

All you have to do is simply drag and drop the Denmark and the France attributes from the Map object to the revenue development line chart.

And as simple as that, now you have a comparison of the two countries revenue development over the last 12 months.

Try it yourself on your own analyses and see the unique power that TARGIT Data Visualization tools have to offer.
