Rank: Member Groups: extranet\Forum Joined: 3/9/2016(UTC) Posts: 7		Hi, How do I change the caption of a measure? I know, where to do it (Properties, Dynamic Captions), but the caption just remains the same (cellvalue), even if I type something else. It Works fine with row and column captions.

I have discovered that it works, when I have not selected the "Measures Down" option. But when I click on "measures Down", the captions return to their original values (cell value). Is there a workaround for this? Is it a bug in TARGIT, I Wonder - or is there a logical explanation? The "Measures Down" is a special visual feature and it don't seems to be fully supporting "Dynamic Caption". I have checked the versions 2015 SP3 and 2017 SP2. When using the "Measures Down" option the "Dynamic Caption" is greyed out in some cases. You can change the caption on dimensions when using "Measures Down", but e.g. not the measure title or the most right column titles. Workaround 1: Change the caption of a measure title version 1 You could use the Translation Feature in TARGIT Management to Change the name of a dimension or a measure. Workaround 2: Change the caption of a measure title version 2 Make a new measure via Custom Calculation e.g. sum(d1,0,m1) or sum(d1,0,m2) and give the calculation a the decried name.
