I am trying to make a criteria, which is only active for some values of another dimension. In the following crosstab I would like to exclude
" 23 SUPPL." if [Country] is " Germany" Please copy to browser if image is not visible; https://drive.google.com...TWdJeFE/view?usp=sharingI cannot find a way to eclude ONLY the combination of the 2.

Hi Mikkel
If you want to hide one specific row, then it is possible via Properties -> Visibility -> Dimension values -> Hide a range of … -> Specific element Choose the element Germany – 23 SUPPL and choose Apply
NB be sure to choose the row in the code column, otherwise you will hide all Germany. NB hiding a row does not affect the grand total. If it is important that the sum of all visible rows is reflected in the grand total this has to be handled separately. |
Best regards

Hi Páll, Thanks, That works when the values are visible. I was hoping for a criteria to also use "behind" the visible data. Do you have a suggestion for that as well? For example if I need to see a master total or a country total without the details https://drive.google.com...RjlZV0U/view?usp=sharing/Mikkel

OK. If you do not want to show Country and Code in the crosstab, then I would create a comparison with two elements, like this: Then I would make a calculation subtracting the excluded set (in your case Germany & all 23 SUPPLY) from the total. Hide the intermediate columns. Here you can see an intermediate screenshot showing all the Quarters Edited by user Tuesday, July 4, 2017 12:06:52 PM(UTC)

That is actually how I solved it some time ago.
It just makes things a little slow...
